What It’s All About?

The 3-day workshop is a safe space learning experiences, offered off-site in different cities across the US and open to executive leaders and HR/Talent leaders from all agencies


Who Must Attend? 

  • Your agency's management, C-Suite, and HR/Talent leaders 
  • This is a required step for an agency who wants to receive their 4A's Workplace Enlightenment Certification®  

Location/Time:

The 3-day workshop will run each day from 9am - 5pm and will be offered in the following cities:

  • Chicago: August 8 - 10

  • New York City: September 26 - 28

  • Los Angeles: October 9 - 11

  • Texas (city TBD by agency participation): January 16 - 18

  • San Francisco: January 29 - 31


Note: We will be adding more cities and date options for the 3-day workshop for an agency's C-Suite and HR/Talent leaders to register and attend in 2019.

Member: $1,500 per person 

Non Member: $1,950 per person

Refunds and transfers will be granted up until 45 days from the start date of the workshop. Registration is non-refundable less than 45 days from the date of the workshop. To request a refund/transfer please email learningsupport@4as.org. 


About Each Presenter: 

Glenn

Educator, author, thought leader, and strategist, Glenn Eric Singleton has devoted over thirty years to constructing racial equity worldwide and developing leaders to do the same. The creator of Courageous Conversation -- a protocol and framework for sustained, deepened dialogue about race, Singleton is the President and Founder of Pacific Educational Group, Inc. which for twenty-five years, has guided racially conscious, global leadership development across the public and private sectors. Glenn has consulted with corporate and philanthropic executives at Wieden + Kennedy (W+K) Advertising, Google, the Stavros Niarchos, and Bill & Melinda Gates foundations; government officials throughout Western Australia through the U.S. Embassy, and established the first international Institute for Courageous Conversation in New Zealand. In 2017, Singleton launched the Courageous Conversation Global Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing community leaders to promote interracial understanding and intraracial healing. A native son of Baltimore, Maryland, Glenn Singleton is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and resides in San Francisco, California. 

 

Glenn

Barbara Tint, PhD brings over 30 years of experience as a psychologist, university professor, consultant and global trainer to her work. She has been a professor of conflict resolution at multiple universities worldwide and has spent much of her life working to support, educate and engage individuals, groups and organizations. Her background is multifaceted, which means she has a wide range of knowledge, tools, resources and experiences to draw from.  Her areas of expertise include conflict resolution, power and status, gender dynamics, intercultural relations, leadership, dialogue processes, resilience and transition and change. She is a published author with books, journal articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics including conflict resolution, dialogue, leadership, forgiveness, humanitarian preparedness and applied improvisation. Her approach is dynamic, humanizing and incisive, even when wrangling with some of the world's most delicate situations.  She brings compassion, humor, mindfulness, flexibility and insight to her training work. She has lived and worked on every continent (ok, not Antarctica) and draws deeply from these diverse experiences. She is a trained improviser and brings these skills, principles and methods into her interactive training work. Deep learning, transformation and fun are not mutually exclusive.

Because of her ability to diagnose workplace issues and provide proven solutions to organizations, she is often referred to as The Workplace Doctor. Professor Bowman's expertise has been sought after by national media publications such as Forbes, Fast Company, Business Insider, Bloomberg BNA, Inc.
